Tawrat and Injil lost?
The Torah and Gospel had been lost before Muhammad’s time”
The Qur’ān clearly says that the genuine Torah and Gospel was with the Jews at the time of Muhammad, literally “between their hands” (بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ, bain yadaihi) (9:111). Sura Al-A’raf mentions that the Torah and Gospels “are with them” (7:157).
“Let the People of the Gospel judge by what Allah hath revealed therein. If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (no better than) those who rebel” (Sura Maidah 5:47)
How could the People of the Gospel whom the Qur’ān addresses judge by the Gospel if they didn’t have the Gospel with them? Therefore according to the Qur’ān they clearly had the Gospel with them at that time.
“And believe in what I reveal, confirming the revelation which is with you…” (Maidah 2:41)
